Every family carries understanding in its stories: what helped in a hard moment, how to encourage a particular child or why a decision was made.
Cleo is being built to help each person express that understanding and explore what they would like to make possible next. The design puts individual choice and privacy at the centre: what a person shares should not be assumed simply because they belong to a family.
The family's goals can then be considered together. The aim is to carry more of the practical work, notice when an arrangement stops helping and bring decisions back to the people whose lives are involved.
More capability should mean more room to be together—not more life spent managing a system.
A legacy that keeps contributing
Imagine a parent noticing that their child understands fractions while measuring wood for something they are building. They record what happened, why it helped and what the child says about it.
Forty years later, a descendant encounters a related difficulty. Imagine Cleo bringing that experience forward with its origin and reasons. The family judges whether it fits, adapts it and adds what happens next.
Across a century, a discovery could help someone its contributor will never meet. Each generation could inherit more understanding and remain free to question it.
This is the continuity we are developing: understanding kept faithful to its origins and useful when circumstances change. A stored story becomes a useful legacy when it helps a later life.
